The Empathy Party is a hypothetical UK political party based on the Empathy Principle, that no-one should ever be placed in an impossible situation.
We believe that no-one should ever be placed between a rock-and-a-hard place, in a Catch 22 with no viable options available to them. Sadly, such situations are faced in the UK today, often by large groups of people, and yet often go unnoticed.
By looking at these situations, which often exist within the most contentious contemporary political issues, we hope both to illustrate the Party’s philosophy and to demonstrate how we would change the country for the better.
